With the cheerful spirit of the theme, “Run, Hop, Jump, and Play – Sports Day is Here, Shout Hooray!” the campus was filled with joy and vibrant energy. The event provided a platform for children to showcase their physical abilities and build confidence at an early age. A variety of age-appropriate races and activities were organized, including running races, hopping races, balancing games, and simple obstacle challenges. Each event was carefully designed to suit the abilities of young children while encouraging participation and enjoyment. The school proudly conducted its School Elections for the Academic Year 2025–26 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students of the Secondary Section. The event aimed to encourage democratic values, leadership qualities, and a sense of responsibility among students. With the inspiring message, “The power of change is in your hands,” the election process motivated students to take initiative and become active contributors to the school community. The election process was carefully planned and executed in multiple stages to ensure transparency and discipline. It began on 24 June 2025 with the form-filling process, where interested candidates applied for various leadership positions such as Monitors, Prefects, House Captains, Head Boy, and Head Girl. The following day, 25 June 2025, candidates submitted their nomination forms for verification and approval. On 26 June 2025, interviews were conducted to assess the leadership qualities, communication skills, confidence, and sense of responsibility of the applicants. The interview panel evaluated each candidate fairly, ensuring that only deserving and capable students moved forward in the election process. Campaigning was held on 27 and 28 June 2025. During this time, candidates presented their ideas, shared their goals, and spoke about the positive changes they wished to bring to the school. The campaigning was conducted in a respectful and disciplined manner, focusing on constructive promises and teamwork rather than unhealthy competition. Students listened attentively to the speeches and began considering their choices carefully. Election Day was held on Monday, 30 June 2025. Students arrived in white attire as per the announced dress code, symbolizing unity and discipline. The voting process was organized systematically under the supervision of teachers to ensure fairness and order. Students cast their votes responsibly, understanding the importance of making thoughtful decisions. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, anticipation, and a strong sense of participation. The results were declared on 1 July 2025. The elected leaders were announced based on the majority of votes received. The winners expressed gratitude and pledged to serve the school community with dedication and honesty. At the same time, all participants were appreciated for their courage and sportsmanship. The School Election was not merely a voting activity but a valuable learning experience. It provided students with practical knowledge about democratic processes and instilled qualities such as leadership, accountability, confidence, and respect for others’ opinions. Through this initiative, the school successfully reinforced the importance of student voice and responsible decision-making. Overall, the School Elections for the Academic Year 2025–26 were conducted smoothly and successfully, leaving students inspired to contribute positively and take ownership of their school environment.
